All December long and some days of November too, people gather in the stores for a ceremonial shopping frenzy. Retailers give exciting deals for shoppers to shop their heart out for their loved ones. A shopping spree that you cannot experience the whole year.
Everyone is excited, waiting anxiously for the marvelous most exciting day with all their ritual spirit for the day that they get rewarded for their deeds, good or bad.
And when the sun sets on the soil of UK, on 24th of December, the chills of winds are turned to the warmth of excitement, as this very day is the “Christmas Eve”. The wave of excitement runs along all over the soils of UK when bells in the church ring their melody. A day before the ceremony really starts, the excitement is on the top, for the next day when Santa will be rewarding you for the whole year deeds of yours.
Before you get the feast of the year on the spirituous day, you get to have the time for your prayer and sang the ceremonial songs to light the Christmas Eve.
Now people are busy decorating the Christmas tree that is usually brought all the way from Norway. Christmas tress are decorated with Leaves and berries from holly trees and mistletoe bushes, small colored fairy lights and various other decorations with rich colors that spark the Christmas mood.
And when the sun rises, with its full glory on 25th December, it gives a shine and glow to every single thing it touches. Whole of the UK is on its full bling when the sun rises, everyone ready for the glorious day ahead. People greeting everywhere, all organizations except for hospitals and shelter homes are closed, and public transports are also not on duty. Because every single person is celebrating this joyous day.
This very day is celebrated with all its Zing and bling. Christmas meal is taken in lunch time or early afternoon which is usually roast turkey, roast vegetable like carrot, peas, stuffing and sometimes bacon and sausages served with cranberry sauce or bread sauce. And desserts usually is Christmas pudding. It is also famous tradition in Christmas to have a Christmas cake as a dessert.
And when this scrumptious meal is over, everyone gather around and sing the traditional family uniting Christmas carol to enhance the spirituous feeling of Christmas. With Christmas night falling, everyone is now excited to open their presents and see what Santa got them
And with all the starts shine bright with the moon, the Christmas day ends with all its excitement, zeal, and warmth spirit.
