The Good
The best thing about Windows 10 is that it is not completely revolutionary like Windows 8, it have some similarities with Windows 7. The desktop is a mixture of Windows 7 and Windows 8’s desktop mode. All the Windows 8 features which were not capable of satisfying all kinds of people are eliminated form this Windows or givens as optional. The start menu is back but it does not come with that typical Microsoft style, rather now it has new tiles in it which are customizable. However if you want to use that Windows 8 start screen on your touchscreen devices you can also use that.
Windows 10 now introduces multiple desktops to its users. This improvement is predicted to be liked by all sort of people as it helps you in enhancing your productivity. This option of multiple desktops allows you to easily shuffle through the windows so you don’t have to go through multiple tab to find the tab of your interest. It can be best used when you have more than one monitor connected to it. You can open separate tab on every monitor which will make you feel like you’re using two different computers altogether. Plus you don’t have to manage it manually, open your desired site and it is all set there.
A feature which will make gamers go crazy is that now it can be connected to Xbox. It has a separate tile for Xbox, it enables you to plug your game card in it and it will store your games library similar to Xbox. So now you can easily check on your game stats without opening Xbox’s original slow and buggy browser. Windows 10 is also expected to feature Cortana. Though its technical version does not allow us to enjoy that feature but complete version of Windows 10 will definitely have this feature in it.
The Bad
We’ve talked enough of all those good things Windows 10 is going to offer us, so now let’s move on to its bad things. Windows 10 does not have many negative things which can be discussed but we can say it does not give us a new look. Its desktop is similar to the desktop mode of Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows Vista. It feels like Microsoft has included Windows 8’s features as an afterthought because they are not yet working properly. Another thing is that if we open the live tiles we are presented with the swipe navigation method which is useless unless we have a touchscreen device.
